TREATMENT OF WASTEWATER

The main pillar of the activities of KOMET SA in cooperation with «HYDROTECH ENVIRONMENTAL – WORLDWIDE ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS» is the application of the Bio-augmentation method to the Urban Wastewater Treatment Plant in many Balkan countries, achieving effective environmental solutions worldwide. The application of the method results in the production of fully stabilized sludge as well as the reduction of the quantity ranging from 45% to 90%, fulfilling the objectives of the existing legislation. Bioenergy method is applied to urban wastewater, biological, septic, industrial wastewater, agricultural waste and many other areas requiring odor control.
After the treatment stage, the treated waste is ultimately destined for natural recipients, either surface or underground.
KOMET SA has quality indicators to monitor the criteria that are being set at the planning stage and the legislation in force.
